Another feature dish from GPJ, their hearty soup on the day - this time it was Yellow Lentil Soup. They give you about 2 - 2 1/2 cups of soup in an eco friendly container. This soup is hearty, healthy and has such lovely flavor. It has a little spice to it that adds to the wonderful warm feelings upon eating it.
Besides lentils, I noticed carrot and some green leafy vegetable, perhaps spinach, and the base tasted slightly of tomato. Overall a wonderful soup for the cold weather.
Comes with complimentary healthy crackers to add to the soup.
As they recently raised prices, a serving of soup is $6.99 plus tax.
