I’d like to thank @stevenneoh for doing the homework creating all the names and submissions on the app so I wouldn’t have to look them up 😗 Sadly no dice from the @abillion10 team or community about whose tattoo that was though - referring to Steven’s review 😉 This was one of 2 #finedining starters to kickstart the meal, mine, and frankly the better one. Per his review too, it was apparently realised in #otak sauce 🤷‍♀️ All I could care for was that it was bloody amazing. #veganisnotscary with places like this in #Penang that not only know the #vword but so readily embrace it! Another #finedining place ticked off the to-do list 😊 In fact I had been here for a friend's wedding in pre-vegetarian times, and even then noted how good they were with accommodating individual dietary preferences. This is in fact part of a vegetarian set menu (picture 3), but they are sufficiently aware to modify if you tell them you're vegan (#veganisnotscary 💪) At only RM125 for three generously-portioned courses, this is excellent value for money 🙌 This was one of the starter options, ordered by the person whose tattooed hand you see in picture 2 😛 If I'm honest, it was the better of the two. #volauvent meets #tempeh in #otak sauce, so a #fusion between #nyonya and European (rather than between nyonya and Chinese, which is the general theme here 😉) Superb plating, superb flavour, superb everything 😌 I love #penang 🥰
