Vegetarian Lor Mee

I had actually intended to order their ramen but sadly they were all out 🥲 so I went for this instead and I’m happy to report that it was not too shabby 😏 I need to give immediate praise to the #noodle texture! Hello QQ with a slight pasta-like sturdiness!! 🤪 It wasn’t just the texture but the thickness of the #noodles were a satisfyingly narrower linguine 🤓 There was no shortage of the #soup as it’s abundant #soysauce punch took center bowl! Thus, resulting in a nice dark overtone throughout 😋 The topping included much veg and a healthy serving of soy sauced up #tofu and #chinesemushroom 😛 It’s a quality gargantuan serving for just $7.90!! If you’re ever looking for a great deal for #vegetarian #lormee, hit up the Vivo City food court! 🙃

Very good lor mee. Not like the typical gooey lor mee. Broth was terrific, very flavourful and the ingredients were well flavoured in it. The braised mushrooms were great. I think it was served with other type of noodles not yellow noodles, delicious! No mock meat. 👍

This is the best lor mee I have had thus far! It comes full of delicious and nutritious ingredients such as mushrooms and silken tofu, topped with beansprouts, sliced carrots and cucumber. The braised sauce tastes unique and flavourful, vinegary, herby and piquant all at once, and doesn't leave a greasy mouthfeel. Quite expensive at $7.90 and not very filling, but so worth it for the taste.

Finally theres a vegan stall in Food Republic (Vivocity) !! I have checked with the person in charge and all the food there are vegan! :) The first dish I tried is the lor mee (braised noodles) , and it is a bowl of smooth jade noodle with sliced braised king oyster mushrooms, and braised pressed tofu (hidden under the garnishes😆) in braised soup. The soup was well cooked with a rich braised flavour, smooth and slightly creamy, and a bit of black vinegar was added to enhance the taste. It is indeed a good bowl of vegan lor mee, the ingredients were well braised and the soup was delicious to drink!
