Its #duck day, braised to a dark chewy, shreddy state on a bed of uber broad #ricenoodles aka #horfun which I'm never a fan of. Much prefer Malaysia's baby thin version (like those found in Ipoh or Penang) for easy pick up and better gravy to #carbsforlife ratio. Savoury soup on the side a tad vegetable weak too Value 👉 $6 #alliumfree #noodles #chinese
I hv no idea what ‘mock duck’ taste like or whether this is good or bad. This is my least favourite place to go to in Fortune Ctr cos they hv lots of mock meat n very few vegetables(considering tht its a vegetarian place) But i hear good things reading @ziggyradiobear commenting abt d duck dishes here so i try it one day after work. Hmmmm.. the overall taste is ok. I stil hv no idea what makes a mock duck dish taste good or bad,but this is decent n legit enough according to my ignorant tastebuds. The dish is not overpoweringly sweet so thts good for me. The hor fun thickness consistency level is good, the dish is very tasty delicious, but i feel a bit weirded out having d mock duck. It’s d same feeling i had wen i had those gel like plant based sashimi. Wld I have this again? Hmmm maybe..maybe ill try d porridge next time..
