Vegan Burrito Bowl with Vegetables

I gotta admit, I love the burrito bowl. Normally, I'm all about the burrito - something about chomping down on a meal while holding it and the extra carbs from the tortilla... but this is just as good and probably a bit healthier. I can taste more of the elements of the dish instead of a burrito where it all comes together in one bite. What's most surprising is that for a quick service restaurant, Guzman manages to make all of their food really fresh. It takes a bit longer after I order but the ingredients taste, well like real vegetables!

I like that this #burritobowl comes with guacamole. The sautéed vegetables could be more flavourful. It’s somewhat standard #mexicanfood. Food was served very fast. It’s relatively affordable compared to other options. Remember to opt for no cheese to make this vegan. Their dine-in food comes in take out containers too. Even though it’s compostable biopak, the single-use container and cutlery is wasteful. This mall is quite relaxing. The open and pet-friendly concept is refreshing. Plenty of seating areas around the mall.

Mexican cuisine is just on another level man i love burrito bowls so much and guzman rly hits the spot each time😍😍😍😍😋😋😋😘😘😘😘😘😩😩😩😩 PSA!!!! Every 6th of the month, you can buy any mini item there for only $6 (usually $8-$9??) VERY WORTH! For vegans remember to ask for SAUTÉED VEG + NO CHEESE🚫🧀🚫

Lunch at Guzman for their $5 regular burrito/ burrito bowl promo as it’s Cinco De Mayo Day today. Featured here is a regular size burrito bowl with tofu rancheros. Added a couple of free condiments - coriander and onions. Love the flavours in this burrito bowl. Good size and filling too. To veganise it, request for no cheese.

All the flavours and different ingredients, beans, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and more on top of rice. Also included are guacamole and nachos. I had coriander and jalapeño as toppings. Had it spicy and was not spicy. Portion is filling and makes me thirsty the whole evening after eating. Hmmmm….. Order regular and cost $10.90.
