Trooper Dawg

This has been a staple #vegan dawg for Onion Maiden at vegfests and a fan favorite! This #soy hot dawg is covered in homemade #lentil chili and housemade dairy-free #cashew cheese. It was super messy, but tasted great. This reminds me of fall and cool weather.🍁🍂 It was a little warm out for this in August. This was another great #value and price for vegfest at only $7! Usually, vendors double that. Sadly, Onion Maiden is now carryout only, but they do have a brick-and-mortar in Pittsburgh. Got to try this at the Pittsburgh Vegfest! #soy based #hotdog topped with #cashewcheese and #lentil chili. The flavors were incredible, and this was one of my favorite items at #vegfest! Also very reasonably priced at $7. Onion Maiden also does take out in #pittsburgh and is #womenowned and #minorityowned. Highly recommend!

Really good hotdog! It was very filling with the lentil chili on top. The lentil chili was very good, I don't care for the taste of lentils but this was fine, I didn't taste the lentils.

This was a lentil chili, cashew cheese smothered hot dog. The hot dog was an interesting texture. It didn't have the snap I'm used to, and was rather mushy. The bun and toppings were great, though!
