Toon Rendang Rice

really nice and i wasn’t disappointed! the sauce was spicy and buttery and also fragrant! really enjoyed this dish, the vegan ikan bilis was supperr crispy and the mock rendang meat was so chewy and tender :) only downside - just wished the portion size was a little bigger as it’s around $7 ala carte. #veganisnotscary

Yum! I love the combination of the rendang and rice 🍛 second pic is after mixing the rendang, putting the fresh veggies aside. This is a $10 set with the berry tropical dream bubble tea so pretty worth it. The mock meat was superb and rendang flavour was delicious, they had veg ikan bilis too. It was pretty spicy, luckily I had the bubble tea to sip. I would've been more satisfied if there was steamed broccoli rather than fresh veggies, the tasty thing is the rendang but the ratio of that to rice isn't that high. This with the bubble tea was just nice and not so much I struggled to finish. Made for a nice filling meat. #veganisnotscary 🍛
