The rendang was very nice with bits of mushrooms. Very tasty. However, today's plant egg had a very weird texture like very konjac-y/membrane-like. Not sure what caused that, maybe the cooking time or something. The burger also had some crisps in it which was not very nice because they softened after a while.
The tempeh paired up really well with the rendang sauce. Papadum lost its crisp by the time I got home. But all round lovely burger nonetheless
tad bit pricy given the small portion - definitely not filling on its own - but the sauce goes so well with the tempeh and the bun is whole grain i believe
I usually love Tempe and in burgers too! But this was slightly disappointing. The flavours didn’t just fit together. Maybe needs to be more crispy?
