Wait for it to cool down a little before eating as it will likely be piping hot when served. It is chewier when it has cooled down too! Lovely side dish.

Deep-fried sweet potato balls, similar to night market / pasar malam snacks! Slightly crispy on the outside, super squishy and mochi-like on the inside (not hollow/empty like with conventional sweet potato balls). Loved the sweetness of the purple and orange sweet potato, lightly dusted with icing sugar. Admittedly not the healthiest but pretty nostalgic! P.S. The photo looks like there are only orange balls, but there were more purple balls hidden underneath! (Allium-free, $5.90)
