Summer Roll

Had to hv a side dish along my spicy beef noodle So tried this #summerrolls Actually i feel this is one of those dish thts hard to say whether it’s good or bad, but yes i think i’be had better ones. This was rather basic,with it’s #mockprawns n #tofu n the usual greens. Also the sauce had to be a killer and this wasn’t to me at least.

Sticky rice paper roll stuffed with konjac 'prawns', fried beancurd, rice noodles, lettuce, and cilantro. 🦐🥬 Served with a creamy peanut dip which I loved! Honestly I've never been super big on summer rolls (they all seem the same to me LOL 🙈) but the dip made this good. 🥜🌶️ Vegan Pho is currently still sharing a space with an omni stall, with separate cooking equipment! They've extended opening hours for supper, i.e. Sun to Thu 10am-11.30pm, Fri to Sat 10am-1am, but with +$1 charge after 9pm~ ⏰ (Allium-free, $2) #sgvegan #vietnamese #msgfree #alliumfree #minorityowned #womenowned

It was weird trying imitation meat for the first time being a vegetarian all my life but this was brilliant. Especially the peanut sauce it came with, was finger licking delicious 🤤

That’s right! @m1tch9i is back with me in Singapore 💕 Right after dragging her with me to the hospital next door I thought we’d pop in here for some #vietnamesefood 🇻🇳 If you’re a foreigner in Singapore #hawkerfood is all you can afford after seeing the doctor anyways 😛 Then again, S$2 for a single summer roll… Glad the other reviewer pointed that out too 🙈 It was nice though, especially the #dip! It tastes a lil nutty so I’d double check if I had allergies 🥜 Not that I do 😏 My body is a nuisance in far more impractical ways. Speaking of impractical, that chewy #veganprawn they stuffed in here. Just a single one! 🦐 I don’t know. I feel spoiled because this was just… alright 🤷‍♀️ I wouldn’t get it a second time unless I was really in the mood 🗞️

$2 for 1 spring roll is too much at a food court. Tastewise, it has the herbs and uses whole food tofu as mock prawn
