Stir Fried Chinese Spinach with Golden Mushroom

Haven't been here since.. I can't recall when 🙃 Menu's well labelled this time round with a single universal symbol referencing egg/dairy. $15 for hidden fresh #spinach beneath crunchy, battered #enoki. Superior on paper, also in terms of taste and execution. Yet the fusion of textures befuddled me to such an extent that it took a whole half an hour to demolish this unassuming plate for fear of biting into myself 🤔 Either I'm getting old or that the whole is less than the sum of its parts 🧓 #eatyourgreens #vegetables #mushrooms

Simple stir fried Chinese spinach topped with fried mushroom. Sounds simple. Tastes great. Charges reasonable. What more to ask for? Actually have tried a few variations of stir fried Chinese spinach from the same restaurant previously ( they do update and change their menu on and off); this version taste better if dine in; but risk of mushroom going soft if for take away.
