The sautéed veggies at #yellowpot were definitely some of my favorite things along with the Sweet & Sour Eggplant (see my other review). These spring onions were perfectly seasoned with fried garlic. Definitely on the pricey side!
For authentic #sichuan cuisine that's also plant-based head to Si Wei Mao Cai #siweimaocai on Mosque Street or Shisen Hanten #shisenhanten on Orchard if you're looking for something fancy!
Tip: We sort of judge sichuan restaurants by the quality of the mapo tofu. Here they refused to make it without beef 🤬 and the few friends at the table that had it said it was awful. The only dish left standing. So I wouldn't go back to Yellow Pot unless they #tryharder!
