Spicy Tuna Roll

We started with the fried mushrooms as an appetizer then ordered 4 rolls of sushi (dragon roll, torched and pressed, baked crab roll and spicy tuna roll. All 4 were amazing but the “ torched and pressed with avo and truffle oil was over the top. Here for 4 days So we’ll be back. Have to try their pizza next.

Wow!!!! Unless you’ve been vegan your whole life, you probably have had your share of sushi. I never thought I would be able to enjoy a vegan sushi roll outside of a veggie roll until I went to Planta! This was the best sushi roll period! Nothing about this spicy tuna roll will scream vegan which will make your eyebrows raise with every bite. If your in south beach, there is no reason as to why you didn’t go to Planta!

The watermelon is a nice touch! It has so many great flavors!

Don’t be fooled by the simple descriptions of this dish - it is really good sushi. My husband said it’s like the real thing! The technique they use is dehydrated watermelon which they rehydrate to give the appropriate texture. It’s simple but delicious!
