I get it, it's #sichuan #mapotofu and you want it to be #spicy, but ladling the thing with whole #peppercorns? 😩 I don't mind the spice, but those things are so bitter 😖 The gravy was pretty flavourful and the chopped #shiitake #mushroom worked well, but that wasn't redemption enough ☹️ I also felt that a bit of fake mince wouldn't have been amiss 😐 #whiterice in the background is part of the deal. One of the few times that Simply Good Food has left me disappointed.
