Spicy Bean Curd

I completely forgot I had this… because it was unremarkable. So I had this once again last night only to find out it remains unremarkable. I was really hoping for some #spicy but if this was the only kind of spicy the world had I could have passed on one hour of bar conversation on the history of pepper 🫑 Luckily the #tofu was nice and it places as a neutral alternative to their other #beancurd dishes, such as when you’re having one of their more flavourful #friedrice https://www.abillion.com/dishes/the-legend-vegetarian-cafe-salted-soya-fish-fried-rice-10354783 😋 #veganuary #notspicyenough

#spicy #beancurd sans spiciness (RM13). I love my soft #tofu but if its advertised as such, it should at the very least carry some registered form of burning. Kinda non existent though edible; can't go much too wrong with #soy really #completeprotein

A nice dish to just pair with white rice 🍚 The fermented spicy bean curd flavour is really strong, but not too spicy 🌶 I like that they cooked it with small mushroom bits throughout so you have something chunky to chew on amidst the soft #tofu 😋 #veganisnotscary
