Savoring South Indian Delights: Greenleafs thali was worth the commute Despite a 25-minute commute, I eagerly made my way to Greenleaf to satisfy my craving for a #SouthIndianThali meal, and it was worth it! The restaurant’s serene ambience and warm hospitality set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The thali was a true feast for the senses, with rice, #pulioyogare, #sambar, #rasam, #karakozhambu, #keerai, #vadai, #vegetablecurry + pickles and papad. The portions were just right, allowing me to enjoy the wide variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed. The service was attentive, and though the commute was a bit long, the authentic flavors of the thali made it all worthwhile. Greenleaf is a must-visit for South Indian food enthusiasts, even if it means a little extra travel time.
It’s my first time trying thali and I rly love how you get to taste a little of everything! The papadom was fresh and crispy and the rice was soft and fluffy. I particularly love the snake gourd (outer right) :)
The South Indian thali is nice - a good balance of flavours. If you order it make sure you tell them “vegan” so they will omit the dessert and the yoghurt.
This thali set is spectacular! It is very flavorful and delicious! They are not using MSG, preservatives, white sugars, or artificial colours. Note: Make sure to let them know you are vegan, so they could omit the buttermilk and sweets. But they will provide you with more servings of sambar instead. #veganisnotscary
A very tasty set meal in a no fuss yet charming Indian restaurant. They can either make the set vegetarian or vegan. The vegan one was absolutely delicious with tons of different flavours. The owner is lovely and made sure everything was 100% vegan. #veganuary
