Pretty popular item on the menu. Avocado is decent, can't call it guacamole level
It’s a vegetarian cafe inside Tzu Chi’s Humanistic Youth Centre. Vegan dishes are clearly labelled. Unfortunately Tzu Chi is not vegan nor plant-based. 2 people from our group both ordered avo toast but they got different types of toasts and 2 different types of avo serving. Seems like there’s no consistency in the kitchen, perhaps a suggestion to their approach to vegetarianism/ plant-based lifestyle?
It is $2.50 for a choice of toast and spread! There are various breads and spreads to choose from (several are vegan. This is v value for money compared to avocado toast in other cafes. Not much chia and the mashed avocado could have done with a bit of salt but overall it was satisfying!
