sliced fish tofu soup

comes with rice by default but i requested for kway teow instead. the uncle and aunty manning the stall is always friendly and accommodating. they will even take time to explain how each dish is prepared! this hearty bowl of fish soup came with mock fish slices, vegetarian ham, wongbok, carrots, mushrooms and a variety of tofu. the broth is very gentle to the stomach as it's cooked with ginger. my only gripe is that the vegetables aren't cooked as soft as i like it to be, otherwise i really enjoyed this bowl! 😋 $5.50
