Sichuan Spicy Beef

Green Common was having a promotion when I went, so I got this dish for free with purchase of 2 mains. This tasted alright for me, but my uncle felt that it was a bit too salty. Eeek I did not like this dish 😖. Not spicy and very SWEET! I’ve never eaten a non-vegan version of this so I asked my partner if it was supposed to be sweet and he said no 😂. The texture of the beef itself was good but I think the sauce is not good at all. The presentation was lovely and the lotus crisps were tasty.

We got this appetiser for free as part of a limited time promo I think. The mala taste was quite nice and flavourful!

First time to have this dish - not too spicy and a nice balance of flavours. The unlimeat is nice and juicy, and worked well with the shaved carrot and lotus crisps.

It looks really little as it came in a small cup. Taste wise not bad! But we thought it could have a rougher texture for it to resemble meat.
