I found it pretty spicy and it's a little different from most veg mee rebus
I've had. This is slightly more sour but I found it more fragrant. 很开胃。Really affordable place, would def come back! 😊
Dad really enjoyed this, it was his favourite dish of the lot. The flavours in
this were quite rich and flavourful. You can also specify your preferred noodle: yellow, rice noodle or a mix of the two. #meerebus #veganmeerebus.
A great place to bring the family, if you’re after vego/vegan versions of the local classics. I believe they’re lacto-vego, but almost all their items were vegan anyway (just the optional dairy for drinks and maybe 1 soup). We stated upfront that we’d like everything to be vg (or vg-ised), and they helped us ensure that was so. Food is tasty and reasonably priced.
Note that their opening hours are from 730 to 130pm, and closed on Sunday. So it might require a bit of planning ahead of time, but i assure you it’s worth doing: We came around 11 and a number of items had sold out by then. #melaka
Printed Menu in english and chinese. Major Allergens aren’t labelled, but ask them, they’re extremely friendly and helpful/. You can also ask them which dishes are non-spicy etc. Roadside car parking (Free parking Sundays to Tuesdays, other days you will need an app to pay). Steps onto the five-foot way, and single step into coffeeshop.
The gravy was nice and thick. Had a lovely nutty taste. Yellow mee was delightful.
Served with some green chilli, tofu, and cucumber strips.
