I love a good #sataybeehoon. Not many veg*n eateries make them, so I’ll always order it whenever I see it on the menu. A generous serving of #peanut #gravy, #ricevermicelli aka #beehoon, a handful of water spinach aka #kangkong, some #konyaku fishball and #fishcake slices, and a stick of satay made with #monkeyheadmushroom. The rice vermicelli noodles are al dente, not soggy or over-cooked, just the right texture to go with the mildly spiced #satay sauce. I prefer the #fishball over the fish cake 🍥 slices as it’s got a more bouncy texture. The monkeyhead #mushroom satay was too chewy for my liking, so I didn’t enjoyed the that. Overall a good dish.
Strong flavour. Gooey gravy, spicy enough for me. Rich in peanuts. There are not only mock meat, but also fresh veggie and mushroom satay. .
