These satay are actually presented as vegan mock meat skewers with generous serving of peanuts gravy. The taste is alright. I realised that certain mock meat can never replaced the actual meat. In fact, they can never be the same. Comparing the vegan satay with my memory of the real meat, is going to have only one outcome-dissatisfaction.
