Portobello Mushroom and Ale Pie, Minty Mushy Peas and Chips

Great dinner and first, very tasty, British pot pie! Loved the mushrooms cooked in red wine (honestly among the best I ever ate) and the potatoes with the accompanying sauce. The pastry was fine, I never had one so I am not sure what it is supposed to taste like, and the mushes peas were fine too. The dish very overall really good and original, and the place romantic, with atmospheric lights and a nice environment. The waiters were nice and fast.

Sooo good! Restaurant is usually very busy since its so great but definitely worth the wait:) nice to still eat some British classics that are cruelty free!

The pie was absolutely AMAZING and the chips and mushy peas complimented it perfectly. So filling but very expensive. #newarc
