Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake Donut

I read the reviews on the app to see which #doughnut I should get from here and I settled on this #chocolate one. It tasted EXACTLY like the Tim Horton's one from childhood, it was wild!!! It was $3.50. I never loved this one from Tim Hortons so I give it a 4 on taste, but Jesse loved it! He loved this flavour so if you miss these, get this! It was a really nice #cake texture and a lovely chocolate flavour and glaze. It made me want to try their other options :)

When I first found these at V Food Spot I was blown away by their similarity to the chocolate cake donuts I used to love at Tim Hortons. They seem to have gotten bigger over the years, and I'm not complaining! I usually get at least one of each of their cake donuts and then struggle to decide which I like more. I decided last time that I prefer the plain old fashioned one by a slim margin. The other great thing about these is that they stay fresh for a few days, I guess bc of the glaze and the fact that it's cakey instead of yeasty. Yeast donuts get tough the next day.
