Love the cumin spices on this dish! I especially liked the potatoes and the oyster

mushrooms :>

This was really delicious! My favourite dish there of the three I have tried. It

was savoury and everything was well grilled(?)/pan fried(?), such that it was soaked with flavour. Yummy!

Hm saw good reviews but wasn’t rly up our alley. It’s like a dry rub

seasoning that’s more Smokey than spicy. Has tofu strips too! I liked how the lotus was cut thick and had a almost potatoey texture. Overall worth a try if u luv root veg! #veganin2020 note to everyone coming here, the orders r done on an iPad. Simply key ”不要肉/ 素” under the overall comments at the final step of ordering. Price range around $12/ pax and huge portions! #veganin2020

This was an interesting dish to say the least - it was heavily seasoned with

cumin which was quite different too all the chilli rich dishes we ordered along side it #veganuary

Ok seriously this might be my new favorite dish I’m craving in Singapore and I

just had it last night. I cannot get this out of my mind!

I pretty much love anything lotus root especially when it’s crispy and spicy, drenched in Sichuan heat. This dish brings together sliced potatoes, lotus root, Sichuan style chewy tofu strips and a whole lot of peppers and black pepper. I’m in love ❤️❤️❤️

Loved how flavourful the all the ingredients were, though this was again super duper oily

(the base is literally a pool of oil). The lotus roots were crunchy and complemented the soft but non-mushy potato slices well. The firm tofu strips in this dish had a really unique texture — hands down my fav. out of the entire meal :’)
(Disclaimer: Not really in a position to review spicy food, given my bias for non-spicy food, but am still doing so anyway 😂)

This dish was a good combination of crunchy lotus root and soft potatoes on a

hot plate. It was far less on spice than the other dishes we ordered and complimented the hot Mapo Tofu gravy well. Like other dishes we try, we would have enjoyed it more if the dish was cooked in lesser oil.

This is really nice! The potatoes and lotus root slices are still crispy! Stir

fried with onions and chillis.

This is distinctly average, much better dishes on the menu. The cumin is externally overpowering,

it’s really all you can taste. Veggies are cooked nicely though, still crunchy lotus root
