Mushroom 🍄 Wot was by far my favorite dish from our meal at Axum Ethiopian Restaurant!! Funny how much the sauce reminded me of a Mexican mole sauce. It’s rich, creamy, tangy and perfect for the #welikeitspicy fam! Bite sized pieces of mushrooms 🍄 to easily scoop up with their delicious traditional Injera bread! I asked for the name of the dish as I couldn’t find it listed on the menu. The server which turned out to be the owner, of the restaurant, Yared Teklu gave the dish a name but wouldn’t say why it wasn’t listed on the menu or if it would be a new item 🤷🏽♀️?
We (my cousin and I) sat outside on this beautiful warm sunny day and enjoyed our delicious meal. Would most definitely recommend this restaurant and this particular veggie dish where you can try a variety of traditional Ethiopian dishes!
