Mac & Cheese

Good comfort food and a generous portion! This was my friend’s order but I had to get in there for the review 😆 I enjoyed it but would find it pretty monotonous to eat an entire bowl of it. I think also the cashew cheese sauce would get a bit much but my friend enjoyed it a lot. Described on the menu as ‘Elbow mac drenched in our smokey cashew cheese sauce.’ Decent value at R85

R85 - Original with Seitan Facon. There's something about it that works, but it's still tasteless. I know, bizarre.

This was the loaded Mac & Cheese with seitan stribs and jalapeños. I so wanted to love this bowl but the pasta was tasteless. The macaroni & sauce complimented each other as it was cooked well and the sauces consistency was good but that was about it. I added salt, making it easier to enjoy. Seitan was really good.

With facon bits! Perhaps a little unsalted but good value for money.
