Lentil Wrap

My wife called and made a big order of 4 vegan dishes from this establishment and I heard her mention at least 2 or 3 times that we are vegan and everything we order should be 100% vegan. When I went to pick it up I asked if it was a 100% vegan order and they said yes. I get home and take a bite of my lentil wrap to realize it's not lentils, but it's a ground up cow 😭😭 I knew it wasn't vegan so I put it aside and enjoyed the other dishes, which were vegan and delicious. After our meal I took the ground beef (dead cow) wrap back to the restaurant. They cooked up another wrap for me quickly, this time a vegan one. It was definitely delicious, fried with a nice mint sauce on the side. I'm glad they gave me a new vegan wrap free of charge, but I think other places would've been more apologetic about this type of mistake, and maybe given us a free item or gift card (other restaurants have done this when they messed up).  I  recieved the wrong thing and had to walk all the way back for new one, so it was obviously inconvenient. I think restaurants need to realize that some people are vegan for religious reasons, or have allergies. I was understanding about it but they should be extremely careful because some people wouldn't have been as nice about it. And for good reason, getting meated sucks! If they claim to be "vegan-friendly", they really should #tryharder Take this as a warning and use caution if you eat here. To be safe, just get the Veg Combo plate, which has a good serving of several vegan Ethiopian veggie dishes. #veganisnotscary  unless the place messes up your order and you accidentally get a bite of cow 😭 #veganisnotscary #veganin2022 #abillionlove
