Hakka Yong Tau Foo With Angelica Sauce

I’ve already forgotten what “Angelica Sauce” is though I’m pretty sure I did some extensive looky upping into what that was about a year ago 😂 Though eh.. can’t be too important if I forgot it 😛 The #tofu is pretty good and the filling is amazing! I usually have it to share when ordering out with friends so when doing so I’m a little too courteous to actually pick out what the insides consist of 😅 It’s vegan though and that’s good enough for me! Also love how it’s the one side from here I don’t actually have a standalone photo of!

$1.50. Would prefer the stuffing to the firmer. Didn’t find the sauce very special either, tasted like soy sauce. I think this was quite average, good to try but not getting this next time.

Stuffed tofu in slightly bitter soupy sauce! (Any 3 sides for $4.50)

3 sides for $4.50 (Yong tau foo, carrot cake and yam cake). So value for money and super big portion - I struggled to finish the main and these sides and I'm a big eater. This was my fav snack of the 3. Tau kwa is classic and it had a nice vegan filling that is normally done with meat. The sauce was so delicious like a soup.
