Goma Mont Noir

Apparently this isn't vegan any more in Hvala Craig's new menu 😢 A semi-solid swirly casing of black sesame conceals a soft cloud of oat cream all sitting on a base crust that's hard to cut tbh, but the overall experience is enjoyable. Love goma although it tastes a little sweeter than expected here. Going to miss this!

The filling was nice with a smooth consistency but unfortunately the base was not hard enough a la typical shortcrust pastry.

Strong & nutty black sesame taste 💯 cream in the middle balance out the rich flavours. Love this!

Finally reached the end on my Hvala reviews lol. The sesame goma tart was very rich and had lovely soft oat milk cream inside but the base was a bit odd, slightly stale maybe we got an old batch.
