French toast with bacon, maple syrup and banana

This was unbelievably good. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the combo of bacon with such sweet toppings, but it surprisingly worked ?! Our food came really quickly, & this is one of my favourite coffee shops - really cosy & aesthetic

holy shit this was BAD. like bad bad. this was basically banana on top of oil. i've never seen french toast this oily and the bread felt like all they did was deep fry it and add maple syrup. i wouldn't even call this french toast at all. the bacon was super gross too. i couldn't even manage to eat half

I'm always happy to taste the vegan version of omnivore dishes, so of course I had to give this a try! I'm generally not big on sweet and salty dishes but this was quite nice

Super BIG portion! The bread was thick and fluffy and doughy, the bacon was great, and just the right amount of syrup 🥓🍌🍁
