This was so tasty. The falafels were homemade and fresh, the pickled beetroot was so good and the curried aubergine was incredible to name a few elements

This was the only vegan item on the lunch menu (which only had 6 or 7 items, in their defence) so I didn’t choose it so much as it chose me 😂 But WOW, it turned out to be THE most divine lunch I’ve had in a while! It contained rice, beetroot, curried aubergine, falafel, hummus, coriander... need I even go on?! It was truly scrumptious! 🤤 Boschendal is a truly beautiful place and great to explore a bit - there’s a stunning “Food Garden” you can walk through, and there’s also a small shop where you can buy ready-made salads and I noticed a vegan pie option, in case you don’t feel like eating at one of the restaurants.
