Empress 'Char Siew' Puff

Nice, filling and the pastry was super yum. The filling is a little sweeter than expected but still delicious.

One of the dishes I really wanted to try at Empress! Really impressed by how flaky it is, can't believe it's vegan! The filling didn't taste very much like char siu, we think it was too sweet 🧐 still worth trying though! Good dish to share as it becomes a bit jelat #abillionturns3

These are always amazing, one of my favorite dishes at EMPRESS for sure!

I really wanted to enjoy this as I love everything at Empress, but this didn’t work for me for some reason. It could be personal, but I found it too sweet and crumbly, almost like dessert. But again, it is 100% personal, if you like something sweet and Char Siew, it could absolutely work for you
