Curry Yong Tau Foo

Had udon in this curry. The udon didnt get to absorb the curry well enough. Should have gotten thinner noodles instead. a very flavourful dish though! Some of the lady fingers were old and pretty fibrous. Other than these stated above, i would say this is a very lovely dish.

Metta cafe is a social enterprise at the Metta Welfare Association. It offers training and employment opportunities for youths with special needs. It offers Vegetarian meals and is also Halal certified! The menu is pretty wide ranging - offering various types of fried rice to noodles. I had curry Yong tau foo with Mee hoon. The soup was pretty good and the ingredients were quite generous. Though I'm not sure what the filling is made of - it's somewhat powdery. It might be yam.
