This was the BEST thing we ate at the 5th Annual Jazz n Vegan Ribz Fest. It's All Natural Temple Store always has amazing food. This was also one of the best #values of the day as well. Many vendors were charging $6-12 for sides, and this entire meal was $15 and it was large!
The bottom of this BBQ bowl was filled with sticky white rice, and an Asian cucumber salad introduced to me by Mrs. Combs. It also had a #vegan poached egg and the most delicious BBQ faux meat. It has the absolute best flavor and texture. Even though we were sharing, I took most of the faux meat for myself. Oops. The #asian BBQ sauce was also incredible and had both a sweet and savory flavor. I really hope they have this again at their next popups and if they do, this is a MUST try.
So let's talk about this poached egg. I tried it, but it was tooo real! I could only manage a piece of the outside and it tasted exactly like what I remember a real egg tasting like. It completely freaked me out, BUT I think this is so amazing and it's yet another product that makes the transition to #veganism easier. So bravo👏🏻
