Everyone at the table was surprised when this arrived! It was half melted... The sorbet that we could salvage was really good, but just kind of surprised that the folks at #yellowpot would serve sorbet like this.
For authentic #sichuan cuisine that's also plant-based head to Si Wei Mao Cai #siweimaocai on Mosque Street or Shisen Hanten #shisenhanten on Orchard if you're looking for something fancy!
Tip: We sort of judge sichuan restaurants by the quality of the mapo tofu. Here they refused to make it without beef 🤬 and the few friends at the table that had it said it was awful. The only dish left standing (and this sorbet which nobody felt like drinking!). So I wouldn't go back to Yellow Pot unless they #tryharder!
