Magic with every bite
Last lunch with the boss @vikas and I have a new favourite pita at Miznon! This was so, so good! It was very savoury and almost meaty in flavour. It’s also very filling. I couldn’t eat all of it. You do have to ask for it to be vegan because they put hard boiled egg in it otherwise.
So delicious and perfect for a lunch that will fill you up without a food coma. Tried this after being #influenced by @vikas and it did not disappoint. It’s not on the menu but you can ask the chef to have it made custom 👌 #veganisnotscary
Went to Miznon again and caught up with the chef who said one of his favorite things to eat behind the scenes in the kitchen was a simple vegan pita he makes with chickpeas doused in tahini and smothered with their green herb mix. I don’t know what they put in the herbs but it’s like Israeli wasabi! Has such an amazing kick. I thought this would be starchy and heavy but it was absolutely divine! It’s not on the menu but if you go just ask for it!
