
Smooth and creamy “cheese”, with a thin crust below 😋
Very smooth and creamy cheesecake filling made using tofu; it looked melted but was surprisingly firm! There was an initial tinge of sweetness with each bite that reminded me of baby milk powder for some reason hahaha but this was followed by a slight tanginess from the lemon juice infusion, overall pretty nice! The oat base was thin and quite soggy; personally would have preferred it to be more crunchy for textural contrast, maybe by mixing in nuts and seeds? Looks too normal but tastes pretty good. Has a slight lemon flavour I guess. Not too sweet, great texture, perfect dessert.
Best thing I ordered tonight. Strong lemon taste in the cheese which I reckon was made of tofu. The base was a little meh, too thin and didn't make any impression. Overall good
Tried the Tofu "Cheesecake" from Genesis Vegan. It was fairly sweet with hints of fresh limes.
