Buddha Bowl

All was great about this dish. It’s in the little town of Stellenbosh #southafrica and probably one of the most friendly vegan option in the area.

Delicious combination of flavours. Perfect for a light lunch that does not leave you feeling sluggish. Falafel balls were a bit dry, but mixed with the sauce and veggies it was better.

Juvenate, the new vegan restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch, did not disappoint. Lovely interior, cool atmosphere and delicious food. All vegan and mostly gluten free too! (Such an incredible bonus for those of us with a gluten intolerance.) My friend and I ordered the Buddha Bowl to share, because we wanted to try another item on the menu as well — and they were happy to. And even split, the portion was still generous and beautifully presented. Baked gf falafel balls, beetroot hummus (delicious!) roasted butternut, avo, cherry tomatoes, zoodles, carrot ribbons, baby spinach dressed in olive oil and toasted seeds and served with a sweet miso dressing (equally yumm). You can have this dish as a bowl or in a gluten free wrap. And you can order take aways too AND they deliver. Love. #veganislekker
