This #babaganoush was perhaps one of the more interesting ones 🍆 it is slightly #sweet, sweeter than i expected, but it’s the #teriyaki sauce in the babaganoush — interesting to me, there is a #soysauce kinda taste but in a more sophisticated way! slightly salty, #savoury, sweet💚🤤👍🏼 and the texture is GREAT, i loved spreading it on #bread and it’s really beyond words 100/10 for me — interesting fusion between #middleeastern food with a #japanese take 🍶🍞
Bread sold separately, but it’s definitely a necessity 🫓 Made with smoked #eggplant, a #babaganoush is an essential #mezze to start your meal with 🤌 It’s oddly not a dish I see present often, in spite of its rather simple preparation. They excelled at it 😇 It wasn’t strongly spiced, would be my critique, but overall delicious. At the end of our meal, we were contemplating getting a round to go! 😙 #middleeasternvegan #middleeastern #middleeastfood
This was a very good dip and with a slight twist. It went well with the bread
The eggplants were well roasted(?) and goes better with bread
Artichoke sure looks romantic at night 💕 One of our usual date night spots, though it’s hard to just pass by Fortune Centre. Super Smokey Babaganoush with an Asian twist of spring onions and sesame seeds! We learnt from our last visit and order two bags of bread on the get go! 🍞 see 2nd pic for the rock... hugging a rock 🪨
