Just like the main course I had here, I simply could not commit to a single dish 😋 From left to right is the “Popiah Taco”, followed by the “Crispy Joo Hoo Char Roll”, and finally a serving of “Pai Tee”, all of which were #veganized on demand 😇 The “Popiah Taco” was probably the most interesting of the lot, consisting of jicama stew and pickled green chillis wrapped in a wafer made from popiah skin. Similarly, the “Crispy Joo Hoo Char Roll” was also stuffed with what tasted like jicama or sautéed vegetables and was stuffed in a roll of deep-fried rice paper (or popiah skin), and topped with a dollop of sweet chilli sauce. Finally we have the “Pai Tee”, a teatime favourite of mine, is a crispy wafer filled with achar 🤤 & topped with sesame seeds. I would recommend you actually have the appetisers served this way because the slight differences in taste between each make you appreciate each of them more. #veganfinedining #autismawarenessmonth
