Cauliflower penne

I cooked this pasta a little bit less than the recommended time and the texture

was fantastic. It doesn’t have much flavor, so it doesn’t skew the taste of your pasta dish. I only wish it was organic. I bought it on sale to try it and if they start making an organic version, I will be all about it!

I loved the presentation and the concept of this, #cauliflower is just such a cool

thing to use for #pasta 😀 I'd had the linguine before, so got the #penne this time to have something to review; the tomato sauce and all the ingredients were consequential choices 😛

The only downside would be that it's not as filling as real carbs; two hours after dinner the girlfriend asked me if I had more instant food in the freezer - evidently someone was #stillhungry 😬 And for some I guess the grainy taste and texture would take some getting accustomed to. That warning about not overcooking the thing is real, people 😏

The flavor was good, texture was pretty different from wheat-based noodles. Good to try among

all the noodle options. #veganisnotscary
