Organic Chocolate Chip

Never have I had a cookie that's so... hard. Doesn't even stack up to a stale gingernut because these are thick. Not the promised chewiness at all, but luckily I do have a strange fond spot for rock hard cookies and quite probably jaws of steel. Also looks decidedly different from the cookie pic on the front with fewer choc chips and much browner cookie matrix. Sweet but not too sweet. #cookies #snack #chocolatechipcookie #glutenfree Didn't even realise these were gluten free.

These chocolate cookies have a firm texture, unlike traditional ones, and they're not overly sweet. 🌱🍪💚

these were really not it for me. really really hard to bite into (vv braces unfriendly 😭), slightly gritty and barely tasted of anything. dunking them in m!lk didn’t help too much. will not purchase again :(

I might have said something to a similar effect when I reviewed the first (of just two, thankfully 😳) bag of these #glutenfree #biscuits. But I am so thankful to every god in the world - those who have started all our wars and those who haven't - that I was born intolerant of dairy (and of Abrahamic religion) rather than of gluten. If this is cheat food then I really don't wanna know what your regular food is like 😥 Even the #chocolatechips were never going to save this, horrible flavour and texture 👎

Finally found something to satisfy my chocolate chip cookie craving. I got this as a freebie from my goodie bag from Everyday Vegan Grocer. It can be too dry for some due to lack of butter & eggs used but this one is suitable for me as I prefer more crisp to cookies instead of the softer ones. Definitely a wonderful pairing with coffee!
