Organic Black Sliced Olives

I love the fatty and salty bite of black olives.  I always use pre-sliced olives on my 7-layer party dip when I’m hosting a party or attending a potluck as 1. It saves time and 2. Unfortunately I’m a perfectionist and like the even slices 

I also use these in taco salads as well.  Super convenient and tasty!

Oooh i want to see this party dip sometime and know what the 7 layers are! I haven’t seen a vegan version of that. Maybe there’s one in your feed already?

I thought there was but I can’t find it so I just added some photos here.  You can only see the top, though.  Layers from the bottom are refried beans, guacamole and cashew queso.  Toppings are shredded lettuce, olives, scallions, tomatoes and cashew sour cream.  I guess that’s 8!  Luckily it’s been a crowd pleaser w non-vegans.  I think it’s easier to get away w a queso sauce rather than shredded vegan cheese.  Over the years I’ve tweaked it here and there to my taste but I make the queso based on this recipe:
