These cute, little energy bites are soft and chewy, yet dense with dried cherries, dates,
cashews and dried pear. There is a noticeable cherry aftertaste. The soft texture is juxtaposed with crunchy pepita, or pumpkin, seeds and flakey coconut shreds.
I love that these bites are just raw and organic. So amazingly healthy in every way. Nutritionally, a 3-piece (27g) serving carries 110 calories from 5g of fat, 15g of carbs and 3g of protein. There are 4.5 servings in a bag. I only wish the pieces were a little bigger in size.
I purchased this back in May of last year, but lost the notes for my review. How lucky I was when I walked back into Mom’s Organic Market the beginning of this year to find that they were on sale again for $3.99, regularly $4.69. They are definitely worth it in quality, but for the quantity per bag, perhaps waiting for the sale price might be a better option.
