I really hate that these are labelled #vegetarian and I have to search to confirm
they're #vegan. I love that they're just right in the box with #noplastic. The #taste was pretty #average compared to other #burgers. I added lots of Ballymaloe but I am a #saucyvegan anyway 😆😆

Saw this in the
freezer section, and thought 'why not?'. Explicitly 'vegan' claim, and something I could get #forthedollar.
I cooked it on a sandwich press without oil (so that might contribute to the texture a little). Enjoyed it, slightly onion-y garlick-y smell. Very pleasant taste; doesn't have the 'artificial' meat taste of some of the other plant-based meats I have tried.
Nice chew too, and maybe more on the dry side rather than moist (maybe my cooking method). But it didnt feel like that was a problem at all, unlike the harvest gourmet patties that still felt a little dry even when swimming in sauce.
Enjoyed it. Not something I would pick up at the full price.. But at the discounted price? Why not?
(And scores very well on nutrition. I think it's the first time I have seen a plant-based meat hit the 20% mark for protein)

The box says "Vegetarian", but the product is vegan approved. I love the texture and
taste. A little costly in South Africa, but can be purchased on special quite often. Great no meat alternative. It will leave you satisfied!
