Had no clue what to expect from these. Wasnt expectin very much really. To my
amazement, they are incredible! I simmered them in about 1/4" of vegetable stock for a few minutes and threw them on a whole wheat tortilla with some veggies and sprouted greens. The taste brings back a memory that I cant place. Maybe carnival food from 30+ years ago. (When carnivals in Chicago actually made their own food on site). I am going to buy a bunch more of this. For some reason I couldnt get my kids to try it this time. Hopefully next time. They usually try anything and everything. Too much breakfast already maybe.
Umm not sure if it’s my semi-dislike of tempeh bac’n but I do not like
these Lightlife Smoky Tempeh Bacon Strips one bit. I guess I’m not into the smoky flavor or the thicker cut texture, but I always feel like it overpowers everything (blt’s, breakfast sandwiches, anything..) which is not a taste that I want ~ if you’re a meat person though, I’d bet you’d love it. Definitely like their other smart bac’n way better! 🥓 #veganisnotscary
Ew. This was awful. The texture was terrible, the taste was terrible- I NEVER throw

For the price I paid ($2.99), these were great value 👍 They were very flavourful
and it took me less than 10 minutes to fry them in a pan and toss them in a sandwich. I would definitely buy them again. #veganisnotscary
