OK now I'm in heaven. These are the first *real* rusks I've had since going vegan (not counting Ouma - which is good in its own way but super processed and mass produced). Tannie Veronica has a stall at the Hermanus neighborhood market and sells loads of her own delicious vegan treats. Unfortunately I don't think you can get her goodies anywhere else. But if you pass through Hermanus, highly recommended. Really lovely wholesome, homemade treats. Disclaimer - I don't ever call anyone 'tannie' ever but as Veronica is vegan for the animals I make an exception for her ☺️
