I am visiting my dear son Vikas in Singapore 🇸🇬 I would love to make all his favourite as Vegan now .
Today I made Dhokala which is originally Gujarati dish but become intentional dish as Indian staple food , you can create as you like your grain’s .

I use this time rice flour - yellow pea flour ( Basan ) and cream of wheat 🌾 . Equal parts soaks in almond old sour yogurt 😘 ( as we were travelling it was sitting in refrigerator 10 days and Sonia was about to throw -I said I will make use it is still good for some dishes we make .)
Turn out very nice 👌 . Tangy flavoured as we love ❤️ .
Add salt 🧂 & turmeric powder
Keep batter mix aside 15 mins .
Head up water for steaming up - set smaller pan in pot . grease the pan .

I add Eno fruit salt just before steaming .
It make better to rise . Steam 12-mins .

Add your oil chokan heat oil , pop cumin , mustered seed , curry leaf 🍃 green chilli 🌶️ . Add as topping . Sprinkle fresh coriander 🌿 garnish with roasted sesame seeds too . You can add shredded carrot 🥕 too . Play with colours .& as per your liking.
Serve with sweet and green chutney .
