The fried mushrooms at Mensho Tokyo are good, though they could’ve been a little crispier. The batter is light and flavourful, and the mushrooms themselves are juicy and nicely complemented by the shichimi seasoning. While they’re definitely satisfying, a bit more crunch would’ve taken them to the next level. Still, a good choice for a side dish.
